                           #1 THE BEGINNING
Born and raised in Woodlands; Pietermaritzburg(P.M.B) on the east coast of South Africa(S.A) in one of the city's toughest communities known more commonly as Ghost Town(formally known as Happy Valley); Mick3y wasn't a stranger to the harsh realities mentioned in the hip hop music he was inspired by. After the death of his mother he wrote his first song which he used to vent all his anger and grief; the song was never formally recorded but it generated a buzz via word of mouth by everyone that heard it getting performed by Mick3y.
                                *IRON DOG$
Shortly after that he joined a bruinfunk(S.A slang rap) group called IRON DOG$ which also consisted of Lee-Roy Ahrens a.k.a Olly and Chadwin Hughes a.k.a Scrooge.They began recording songs at their friend DJ Lester's house which had basic recording equipment.Although the songs were of a lower quality than a major recording they became quite popular around the city and were even played in the local mini bus taxi's.
                                  *R3MC
The group then split up and Mick3y joined a rap group called R3MC(r3alist 3 man cr3w) which consisted of Wade Gosling a.k.a F3lony and Ryan Hoskins a.k.a Young Rigga. R3MC was more of a deep rap group; there are quite a few deep rap fans in P.M.B but it wasn't as widely accepted in their surroundings as R&B;Kwaito;Bruinfunk and House.Although R3MC faced the problem of a small market for what they had to offer; they still continued to record music and keep their dream alive.They have also participated in numerous street freestyle battles.
                          #2 BRYCE ANDERSON & COLAMBO Ent
Their music then reached the ears of SAMA(South African Music Awards) award winning producer/song writter & singer Bryce ''Mr. Anderson'' Anderson which then signed R3MC to his record label called Colambo Ent. The group then began doing shows all over the Kwa Zulu Natal region alongside R&B group Demonique; Bjorn Blignaut(member of Ghetto Lingo- SABC1 coca-cola pop stars winners) and a few members and acts from the Durban hip hop compilation CD East Coast Flava;
They have also been the opening act for well known South African acts such as Jamali and Verd Eaton.R3MC has performed on the Dstv Racing Channel at the Clairwood Race Course in Durban and Young Rigga was also interviewed by one of the Lotus fm Dj's just before the performance.
Their performance from the Jamali show was featured on the Dance Collaborations Studio DVD; which also included a F3lony & Bryce Anderson interview.They were featured in an issue of the Maritzburg Sun Newspaper alongside Demonique & P.M.B rap group N$C.
R3MC has been given a shout out in the Demonique aint that innocent album inlay; they were also invited to and performed at the Demonique aint that innocent record release party.They have also featured on the master version of the South African chart topping single ''Baby''  before it was sold to S.A mainstream artist Verd
                                         #3 RAPSTAR RECORDS
Young Mick3y then moved overseas to New Zealand and started doing music under his own indie record label called RapStar Records. He immediately started off by releasing his first mixtape called Real Resurrection vol 1 which featured S.J of Embassy; Young Rigga of R3MC and C.U.E; not long after that he began recording  songs with other artists but the most dominant relationship was with r&b singer/ songwriter Quaid Dunn aka Qwade/ C.U.E. .Mick3y and Qwade have composed over 10 to 15 or more songs together; about 9 were recorded but only 2 have been released publicly.They have done over 10 shows together around Auckland including nite clubs; schools and the St. janera record release party.He has also performed for the South African High Commissioners at the National Burundians Day concert. He has also got to work with Chuckie from T.R.O & East Coast Flava on the ''Across the room'' remix and a song called ''We going crazy'' by Durban ous which featured the top signed and unsigned Mc's from the Natal region of South Africa such as Prinston;Bruge;Lano;One two;M.A.P;Sherz & B-Mone. Working with Chuckie was one of Mick3y's greatest accomplishments because of the fact that Mick3y grew up listening to Chuckie's music and was inspired by him ever-since his T.R.O days.
Mick3y has alot more to offer than the average artist and soon the world will see what he has to offer... this is still under construction; to be continued...
